The mammoth art fest of Asia, Kerala school Youth festival of the academic year 2019 -20 begins from November 27th, 2019. In connection with this, the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) is organizing a Higher Education Expo called DISHA 2019. It is a unique programme sponsored by the government of Kerala for the higher secondary students to have an updated information on different courses after plus two. Realizing the need and significance of higher education, the DHSE has planned to conduct such career exhibition of National level institutions and universities under the guidance and support of Career Guidance Cell.

Eminent personalities would share their experience on how they reached such covetable position which would inspire and empower the students to enter into dignified professions. It is sure that the expo would give exposure to the parents and students as well on the current changes in various disciplines, recently introduced new courses and the growing employment opportunities. Moreover, they can interact with the faculties of the institutions for more knowledge.
The higher education expo DISHA 2019 will be formally inaugurated on 27th November 2019 at GHSS Balla East School Kanjangad, Kasaragod.

Date: 27th November 2019 to 1st December 2019
The visiting timing is of five periods - 9:30 a.m. to 11:00, 11:00 a.m. to 12:30, 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. to 3:30, 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. 650 registered people would be allowed to visit the stalls in each period. Those who are willing to take part in the career seminars can fix their schedule according to the time arrangement and seminar topics of their interest.
A maximum capacity of seminar participants for each topic is 250. Once the registration is done successfully, an email or SMS will be forwarded and the same should be provided at the Disha Expo registration counter to get a pass. It is sufficient to enter the total number of students visiting the Expo while doing online registration. It should be remembered that there is a separate registration for visiting Disha Expo 2019 and participating in seminars.

How to Register for DISHA 2019 ?
Disha 2019 is scheduled to be conducted at Kasargod district from November 27 to December 1st. Teachers, students and the public willing to participate in the seminars and Expo can register through the online portal www.dishaexpo.com. This prior registration would make the visit more convenient for the visitors. Also, it would enable time arrangement for stall visit. 65 stalls have been arranged in a classified order.The visiting timing is of five periods - 9:30 a.m. to 11:00, 11:00 a.m. to 12:30, 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. to 3:30, 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. 650 registered people would be allowed to visit the stalls in each period.
